Overview
Proxacare is a family caregiving organizer app designed for personal use. The app helps users manage caregiving information such as loved ones’ profiles, notes, medications, and visits — all stored securely on their device. Proxacare does not collect, share, or transmit any user data to external servers or third parties.
Data Storage and iCloud Backup
All information you enter in Proxacare is stored securely and privately on your device. If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your iPhone or iPad, your device may include Proxacare’s local data in your personal iCloud backup. This process is fully managed by Apple’s iCloud service and is not controlled, accessed, or transmitted to Proxacare or its developers.
Proxacare does not operate any servers, does not collect user data, and does not transmit information over the internet. The app is designed to function fully offline, ensuring that all caregiving information remains under your exclusive control.
Data Collection
Proxacare does not collect, share, or analyze any personal data. All caregiving information (such as loved ones’ profiles, notes, visits, and medications) is created and stored entirely on your device. When backed up to iCloud, your data remains private and encrypted by Apple and is accessible only through your Apple ID. The Proxacare development team cannot view or retrieve any user content under any circumstances.
User Responsibility
Security
All information stored on your device is protected by Apple’s security features, including Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode, depending on your device settings. When included in iCloud Backup, your data is encrypted by Apple’s infrastructure and remains private to your Apple ID.
